My name is Morgan Childs and I am a former celebrity wedding planner who fell in love with small weddings.

I have been working as a wedding planner for over 20 years doing everything from celebrity to backyard weddings, But, 11 years ago I realized that there was no good solution for couples wanting to do an affordable small wedding and still have a beautiful and meaningful experience. Either they had to wed with the bare minimum or pay a ton of money because the wedding industry is geared towards larger groups.

So I got to work and created our signature Modern Elopement Collection, we curate the top vendors, choose the best locations and pour our hearts into creating beautiful designs and a truly effortless planning experience. And now more than a decade later, hundreds of couples agree it is the ideal way to wed without sacrificing all the best parts that make a wedding day so special.

Now we have finally been able to bring our planning services to all couples planning small weddings with the Modern Wed Club. A new way for couples to plan where they have access to a wedding planner, a guided planning experience, pro resources, community & so much more. Small weddings are different and all couples should have what they need to plan the wedding they want.
